A 44 year old lady attends the Review Clinic. She had been walking in the Lake District about a month before and fallen backwards but managed to put her hands down. She had injured her L wrist (dominant side). She had an undisplaced fracture of the distal radius which was treated in a splint. She had been away on holiday and had noticed that although the wrist was much better she was having trouble gripping things with her L hand.
When she shows you her hands this is what you see.
