LEFT FOOT

Damage is noted to the soft tissues overlying the
planterolateral aspect of the distal shaft of the fifth
metatarsal. A radiopaque foreign body can be seen within the
damaged soft tissues. This foreign body measures
approximately 7 mm in length and is consistent with a
retained glass fragment. A separate denser linear opacity
can also be seen projected over the soft tissues, however,
this is thought to be due to imaging plate artefact.
